During your initial consultation, Dr. Tjelmeland will meet with you to discuss the procedures of interest and gain a full understanding of your individual needs, concerns and expectations. After a detailed medical history and physical examination, options will be discussed in detail that best achieve your specific goals. As we begin this process together, we want you to feel both informed and secure about your decisions.

Please be sure to bring a list of your medications including the dosage and frequency. In some cases it may be necessary to stop some medications before surgery (aspirin, anticoagulants, blood thinners). This will be determined at your consultation.

Scheduling, fees and financing will be discussed in detail by Sarah Baty, Dr. Tjelmeland's patient coordinator.

IMPORTANT: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
